Wessex Water engineers have been working throughout the night, after a water main burst near The Old Bear Inn in Staverton at about 5pm yesterday.
The burst main was along the B3105 and resulted in one home being without water for a short period, but the supply to the property is now back to normal.
Temporary two-way traffic lights are now in place, which are being manually controlled to minimise traffic disruption, and work is expected to continue throughout today.
