Trowbridge town crier Trevor Heeks is marking his 70th birthday by holding a raffle in aid of Larkrise School and Larkrise Community Farm, next weekend.
Mr Heeks will sell tickets at Castle Place Shopping Centre from 10am to 4pm on Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22.
Prizes include bottles of alcohol, and winners will be announced on Saturday evening.
Larkrise School serves children with severe disabilities and the farm is a charity that offers placements to young people who live within 30 miles of Trowbridge.
Mr Heeks, whose birthday is on Monday, March 24, said: “I’ll be 70 and I have got everything I want, so I thought it would be nice to give a little back.”
