Trowbridge children are in for some fun in the town’s park after £16,000 worth of new playground equipment was opened on Wednesday.
This is the latest project as part of Trow-bridge Town Council’s scheme to improve the park after it took over the ownership of it from Wiltshire Council last July.
The playground makeover was funded by Section 106 money.
Carl Triggs, the town council’s direct services supervisor, said: “I’m glad we’ve been able to better the park.”
Since taking over the park, the town council has installed new lighting and improved the presentation of its lake.
In January, Friends of Trowbridge Park formed to help the council oversee long- term improvements.
