Warminster business Webbs Motor Caravans continues to go from strength-to-strength, after acquiring Salisbury Caravans in Castlegate Business Park.
Salisbury Caravans will now trade under the name Webbs Caravans.
The family-run business, which started at a former filling station in Codford, was set up by husband and wife team David and Christine Webb, who began with half a dozen pre-owned motor caravans, and son Matthew is currently group parts and accessories manager.
Webbs Motor Caravans continued operating out of Codford for 13 years with Andy Cahill joining the business in 2000. The company took its first step to expand in 2004 with the opening of its purpose built premises in Crusader Park, Warminster.
Mr Cahill, director at Webbs Motor Caravans, said: “Salisbury Caravans is a fantastic business with a loyal customer base and we believe we can take the business to the next level.
“We will be retaining all eight staff at the Salisbury location and will be investing in growing the business further.”
Webbs also established a second dealership in Reading in 2009 and service manager Matthew Woodward will be transferring to the Salisbury branch to take on the role as general manager.
Mr Woodward said: “I have experience in both the motor caravan and caravan industry which I will apply to ensure a professional approach to sales, servicing and accessories.”
The company’s sites at Warminster, Reading and now Salisbury have over 240 new and pre-owned motor homes and caravans in stock.
