Trowbridge schoolgirl Rhianna Ford is dreaming of stardom after featuring in a music video for girl group Little Mix’s latest single.
Rhianna, 12, is a Year 8 pupil at Clarendon Academy, in Frome Road and beat hundreds of other youngsters to get the part in the promotional footage for the song Little Me.
Rhianna, who lives in Trowbridge, travelled to London for the filming, but unfortunately she didn’t get to meet the musical stars.
She said: “The first time I saw the video I was so excited I was running around the house with joy. It was sad that I didn’t get to meet Little Mix, but I made some good friends on the day.
“I didn’t tell many of my friends at school that I was going to be in the video, so I have had quite a lot of people coming up to me and asking if it is me.”
Rhianna, who started modelling when she was 10, is signed to Bonnie and Betty Model Agency, based in London, which represents aspiring children.
In December, Rhianna featured in the Christmas special of BBC TV show Citizen Khan and she sees her future as an actress.
She said she has had lots of support in her fledgling career from her mother Sarah Ford and big brother Jack, 19.
She said: “The Little Mix video is one of the first big things I’ve done and I’m so proud.
“I would like to get into acting when I’m older and I’d really like to be a film star.”
