Protestors opposing solar developments in Wiltshire will stage a second public meeting on Thursday, after their first gathering was cancelled last week.
The Seend-based 'Wake up Wiltshire' group had planned to meet with the developers behind a bid for a 165-acre solar panel installation east of Melksham last week, but were forced to postpone it.
Group organiser Jack Churchill said: "The meeting was organised by Seend Parish Council, who got a bit spooked by the media coverage, so it was cancelled with three hours to go.
"We still went along to the hall with around 70 local people and had an hour-and-a-half meeting, but it was disappointing the developer had been cancelled.
"There will be another meeting this Thursday with the developer again in the Seend Pavilion at 7.30pm, where we will put forward our views.
"This project will have an effect on bridleways, and the loss of farmland is changing the characteristics of the area. My view is there is a big scandal about these solar farms."
