A man had to be freed from a car in the early hours of Friday, after it rolled onto its side on the A363.
The silver Citroen C4 was 200 yards from Cumberwell Park Golf Course when it came off the road at 12.20am.
The male driver got out with minor injuries, but his passenger, who was suffering back injuries, had to be freed by firefighters before being taken to the Bath RUH by a land ambulance.
The Wiltshire Air Ambulance was also in attendance at the scene, but was not required.
