Christmas cheer will be coming to Shaw, near Melksham, on Friday, as a nativity scene with live donkeys is set up to raise funds for three charities.
Shaw resident Helen Roberts will set up the festive scene at her stable on Bath Road, which is open to children and adults alike.
She said: “This is the first time I’ve done anything like this, but I wanted to do something special.
“We’ll be taking donations for HorseWorld in Bristol, which has loaned us the donkeys, as well as Children in Cancer and Leukaemia and the British Heart Foundation, which is very close to our hearts, as my son had major open-heart surgery this summer.”
Local schoolchildren will be visiting the display from 2pm, and it is open to the public from 3pm to 5pm.
Free parking is available at the nearby Shaw Country Hotel, a short walk from the stable.
