Two men are to face trial by judge and jury accused of carrying out an assault during the summer.
Neil Sutherland and Darren Healey both pleaded not guilty to a charge of actual bodily harm when they appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.
It is alleged that 29-year-old Sutherland and Healey, 35, assaulted Sean O'Brien on Saturday, July 13.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Friday, February 14 when a trial date will be set.
He released Sutherland, of Francis House, Frome Road, and Healey, of Willow Grove, both Trowbridge, on bail on the condition they do not contact witnesses ior go to the communal area of a flat at The Manor on Frome Road.
