Longleat House has submitted a planning application to Wiltshire Council for re-erection of Heaven and Hell murals in the second floor south corridor.
Lord Bath boycotted the wedding of his son, Ceawlin Thynn, Viscount Weymouth, to Emma McQuiston in June, after falling out with him over the removal of his murals.
According to the application, the murals were in the Heaven and Hell Passage on the first floor and are now in storage. The proposal is to re-site them one floor up.
