The results of the second Westbury campus consultation will be provided at the Westbury Area Board meeting next Thursday at The Laverton.
Those attending the meeting will get to hear the latest on the consultation into where Westbury services could be sited in the future.
Local people have been voting on which of three options they prefer since the consultation was launched in August. The options range from a single site campus to two and three site campuses.
The latter options would utilise current council buildings including the library and the swimming pool. The consultation ended on November 30 and people attending the area board will get the first view of how it went.
Members of the Campus Operations Board will provide a brief overview of the consultation process, the total number of responses received and the split between options one, two and three.
A detailed report will be presented to the February meeting of the area board when area board councillors will decide which option to recommend to the Wiltshire Council Cabinet.
“This is a very important decision for Westbury as the resultant campus of new or improved buildings will play a major role in our community,” said area board chairman Cllr Russell Hawker.
Other area board items of interest include a report on tackling graffiti in the town, the latest on Westbury’s newest train service, and an update on the wide range of transport projects agreed by the area board’s transport group.
The area board will also be considering approving more than £13,000 worth of grants to benefit community projects from play facilities for preschoolers to computer equipment for pensioners.
The meeting starts at 7pm with refreshments from 6.30pm. For more information please contact community area manager Sally Hendry on 07768027265.
