A teenager broke her leg in a rush-hour collision in Melksham yesterday.
The 13-year-old girl was in collision with a blue Ford Fiesta as she tried to cross the A350 Beanacre Road near Aldi, at 5.30pm.
Police and ambulance crews attended the incident with the girl, who broke her left leg, being taken to Royal United Hospital, Bath for treatment.
Minutes later, a second collision involving a green Peugeot 306 and black Volkswagen van happened near Melksham Cycle Centre, in Bath Road.
A pregnant woman driving the Peugeot was treated for shock at the scene while the man driving the van wasn’t injured.
