Bradford on Avon business Moulton Bicycle Company has secured a £500,000 deal with China to make a unique model of bike.
The company’s marketing director, Steve Harvey, is one of 100 business leaders currently in China with Prime Minister David Cameron on a trade trip.
Shaun Moulton, general manager and nephew of the late Alex Moulton, said: “We got a half a million pound order from the distributors in Beijing. It's exciting times for the company.
“We are making them a special bike for that market.
"It will be a unique model for the Chinese market - all stainless steel and lightweight.”
Mr Harvey said: “Two to three jobs will be created. An apprentice, an intern who will be working on research and design and we are hoping for an extra silver brazer.”
