Friends of Warminster Hospital raised almost £3,000 with their annual Christmas Bazaar, which was held at the Civic Centre for the first time.
Saturday’s event had stalls and games, as well as a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses. They included Longleat tickets, £100 and a three-month Harridges Health and Fitness Studio pass.
Friends chairman Charles Lane said: “Moving to the Civic Centre allowed us to accommodate more people this year. There was a really good turnout and, as it worked so well, we will hopefully hold it there again in the future.
“We ended up taking almost £1,500 from just the sales of tickets for the raffle. We would like to thank everyone who came and all who helped, especially Audrey Grey, who organised the bazaar.”
