A man in his 40s was arrested for stealing fuel, after he filled up his car at the Sainsbury’s petrol station in Melksham and left without paying.
The man drove in with a silver Fiat Punto, with no tax disc but a disabled parking permit, last Wednesday. The car was later seized by police.
The next day, petrol worth £65 was stolen from Texaco in Spa Road, when a black Saab convertible was driven off towards Queensway without the driver paying.
