The Footlights drama group excelled themselves by playing to packed houses every night at the Arc Theatre in Trowbridge recently.
The young cast of Jack and the Beanstalk proved that they have talent and enthusiasm in abundance. The principal cast projected their voices fantastically, with Alice Clifton in the title role as Jack, Harriet Bye as Jill and Andrea Bieda as Princess Damson.
Great performances were also given by Jessie Blagden, Holly Hamilton, Eryn Beales and Erin Thorne as baddies and Niamh O’Mahony as the good fairy. Ellen Wilkinson and Olivia Clarke’s hilarious portrayal of Dill & Den the flowerpot men shone through. It was amazing to think that they are only 11 and 10.
The whole cast should be justifiably proud of their achievements.
