Warminster Art Society showcased the artistic talent of local people in its autumn exhibition at Warminster Library.
The exhibition was opened by the president of the art society Lady Silvy McQuiston during a preview evening, attended by over 60 people, when cheques were presented to Save the Children, Dorothy House and the Sheila Toomey Award from the society’s Art in the Park.
Linda Blake, chairman of the society, said: “I am proud of all the members who have exhibited their work and I thought that, as always, the standard was extremely high.”
The People’s Choice Award went to Anthea Hadley for her magnificent sculpture of her grandson.
Mayor Paul Batchelor said: “I found it very difficult to choose a People’s Choice winner from such a wide variety of styles and techniques.”
