An electrical fault is believed to be the cause of a car fire in Bradford on Avon last Friday.
The red Volkswagen Golf caught on fire at 2.05pm at the junction of Moulton Drive and Frome Road but the male driver escaped without any injuries.
One fire crew from Bradford on Avon was on the scene and used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets.
The fire was extinguished in half an hour.
Police were on scene to deal with traffic management. Wiltshire Council were informed of diesel spillage on the road and the burnt-out car was later collected.
