CHARITIES and groups are being invited to pitch ideas for inclusion in Little Chef’s 55th anniversary Indoor Street Festival weekend of celebrations in Warminster.

The chain will celebrate decades of roadside dining next month, when its restaurants around the UK will be throwing open their doors to fundraising and community activities, organised by the local groups themselves.

Ideas must be submitted by this coming Monday and can include anything from a choral recital, a cake sale, a record attempt or a car wash.

Chosen projects will be included in Little Chef’s Indoor Street Festival, over the weekend of December 7 and 8 at the diner off the A36.

Manager Victoria Watkins said: “We will welcome applications from any local groups who want to get involved.

“It’s going to be a big celebration. The more applications we receive the better.

“All the Little Chefs around the country will be celebrating on this weekend, but each is doing something slightly different and we want lots of local people to get involved.

“We will be having a Santa’s Grotto on the Saturday and then there will probably be a car boot sale on the Sunday, but other than that we are open to any applications. It is set to be a great celebration.”

Applications should be sent, quickly, to: Victoria Watkins, Manager, Little Chef, A36, Warminster, BA12 7RU. For more information, call 01985 214380.
