The Minster Church in Warminster will launch the Messy Nativity Advent Sheep Trail on November 29 by holding a procession through the town.
The event invites people to spot knitted sheep in shop windows around the town and runs from December 1-21.
Bishop of Ramsbury Edward Condry, Warminster town crier Phil Seddon and mayor Paul Batchelor will be joined by 50 children aged six and seven for to launch the trail.
Starting from the Minster Church of England Primary School at 10am, the procession will head to Three Horseshoes Mall, where there will be carols and a blessing of the sheep.
