Longleat Safari and Adventure Park’s Christmas celebrations will be bigger and better than ever before with a host of festive attractions to enjoy this year.
Running until January 4, Christmas at Longleat brings together all the magic of the holiday season in one amazing day out.
From Santa trains, giant singing Christmas trees and ice skating to winter safaris, penguins and pantomime dames there’s a world of festive fun just waiting to be discovered.
Visitors to the award-winning Wiltshire attraction can enjoy the experience of skating on real ice on the huge Outdoor Ice Rink. Sessions will run daily throughout Christmas and there will be special appearances on the ice by Longleat’s very own skating Snowman character.
There’s the opportunity to hop on board the hugely popular Santa Express for a magical journey and unforgettable meeting with Father Christmas himself in his snowy woodland grotto. Don’t forget to say hello to his trusty reindeer.
The unique, giant 50ft Singing Christmas Tree, which has over 300,000 individual lights and is the only one of its kind in the Europe, forms the centrepiece of Christmas celebrations in the Stable Yard.
Fairytale favourites Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf will be joining a host of other characters including Jack and the Beanstalk, Peter Pan, Aladdin, Cinderella, Prince Charming and The Fairy Godmother, inside Longleat House bringing the enchanted world of Pantomime Tales magically to life.
Even Scrooge, Widow Twankey and the Ugly Sisters are joining in the fun, plus there’s the chance to add your wishes to the magical Wishing Tree.
The adorable inhabitants of Longleat’s newest attraction Penguin Island will also be waiting to amaze and amuse visitors with their underwater acrobatics.
Plus there’s Festive Stalls close by with everything from decorations to fun stocking fillers, winter woollies plus delicious Christmas food and drink.
Many of Longleat’s other attractions are also open throughout the festive season. Visitors can embark on the Winter Safari, get up close to the animals in Jungle Kingdom, take the Deadly Challenge, explore the Adventure Castle and lots more.
