Keevil artist Joanna May has inspired the children at her local primary school after involving them in an exhibition to raise money for the school.
The wildlife artist, 48, visited Keevil Primary School on Tuesday to give a talk and show her collection of work, before challenging the children to create their own wildlife pictures.
She returned the next day to pick a design from each class and framed it alongside her work for parents to buy to raise money for the school.
She said: “They had amazing imaginations and it was incredible how they lapped up all the information. It was great to engage with them and supp- ort the local community.”
