I would like to say a huge thank you to all those who provided magnificent support to the Trowbridge Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service of Remembrance in the park.
They included the Deputy Mayor and Town Council of Trowbridge, Wiltshire Council, police, ex-service and regimental associations, sea cadets, army cadets, air cadets, British Red Cross, Scouts Association and last but by no means least, the townspeople of Trowbridge and surrounding area.
The service in the park was very well attended yet again. Special thanks should go to the Trowbridge Salvation Army Band, under their bandmaster, Stephen Smith, who provided such excellent music during the service.
A big thank you also to Maryrose Mantle and her behind-the-scenes team from Trowbridge Town Council.
Thank you all and I look forward to your support in 2014.
Major P Williams MBE BEM Retd, Chairman, The Royal British Legion Trowbridge Branch.
