Investigations are ongoing this morning into the cause of a house fire in Westbury which happened during the night.
The incident took place at 1.04am with the blaze believed to have started in the bathroom of a two-bedroom property, in Castle View.
The fire is thought to have been caused by an electrical fault, with four appliances from Westbury, Trowbridge and Warminster attending the incident.
The fire was quickly extinguished and a victim support unit was also set up for the single woman householder, who is believed to have spent the night with neighbours.
Station officer Andy Green said: "The fire is being investigated and it is most likely an electrical fault caused by the extractor fan in the bathroom.
"Nobody was injured and we had four fire engines on the scene. We are now using the operation support unit to assist with salvage work and damage control to mitigate rain damage."
