Pupils at The Manor School in Melksham will have a brighter start to their mornings, after they received high-visibility badges from a local funeral director.
The Co-operative Funeralcare in Church Street donated the reflective badges to the school as part of National Road Safety Week, to encourage them to think more about road safety.
Sue Brebner, from the Co-operative Funeralcare, said: “Now the clocks have gone back, darker mornings and evenings mean that children need to take extra care on their journeys to and from school.”
The badges were presented yesterday during an assembly by PC Chris Pugh, of the Melksham Neighbourhood Policing Team.
