A teenage girl suffered leg injuries when she was hit by a car outside Melksham Oak Community School on Friday.
The 17-year-old pupil was hit by a silver car as she ran across a pelican crossing outside the school at around 10.30am, suffering soft tissue and ligament damage.
The car, which was driving from the town centre and had been waiting at the lights, is reported as being driven by a man with another male in the passenger seat, and stopped briefly up the road before driving off.
