Staverton Parish Council continued the Queen’s Jubilee legacy by planting a tree in celebration.
Cereal Partners donated money for the tree and representatives of the firm joined parish councillors for the planting at Elms Close.
Cllr Helen Cosslett said: “It has taken a while to come round, as we had to get the money together, sort out the tree and we were told now is the best time to plant it.
“We wanted to enhance this part of the village that has not had the investment the marina has.”
Two other trees, donated by Wiltshire Council, will be planted in two different locations in Staverton Marina early next year.
