THE Health and Safety Executive has ordered the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to revise their training exercises following the death a Trowbridge reservist soldier during a hike in the Brecon Beacons.
Corporal James Dunsby, 31, of the Royal Yeomanry, died on July 30, after he collapsed during SAS selection training.
His colleagues Lance Corporal Craig Roberts and Edward Maher also died during the same exercise which took place on one of the hottest days of the year.
The MoD will be taking on all the recommendations from the body and has until the end of this month to implement them.
Dyfed Powys Police and the MoD are still investigating the men’s deaths.
