Retired Trowbridge solicitor Mr Anthony Lionel Blake King died on Monday, aged 92. Mr King, who was married to Sheila, dedicated his time to the local community.

Joan Jefferies, the visually impaired club’s secretary and treasurer, said: “He really has made an awful lot of difference to this club and he was a very community-spirited man. He was such a lovely person and will be sadly missed.”
Trowbridge Town and Wiltshire councillor Jeff Osborn said: “He was heavily involved in community organisations for many, many years. Trowbridge will be a poorer place with his passing.”
His funeral is taking place at West Wiltshire Crem- atorium, Semington, at 10am on Tuesday.
Donations in his memory will go to Dorothy House Hospice Care.
