Students at Atworth’s Stonar School were rocking in the classroom on Tuesday when they were visited by Robbie Williams’ former guitarist Neil Taylor.
Mr Taylor, who lives in Bradford on Avon, performed for the school’s senior girls, and spoke candidly about his experiences.
Anthony Curtis, Stonar head of careers, organised the visit. He said: “He sang all the well-known tunes like Angels, and a medley of his most popular songs. By the third track they were rocking in the aisles, it was a fantastic atmosphere.
“It was a really fantastic session, and they went away really happy – even if they did have to go back to lessons.”
Year 12 pupil Taryn Hillman said: “He is a total guitar legend and he also said some very inspirational things during our question time. I totally enjoyed it.”
