Trowbridge singer Gracie Curry is appealing for votes as a wildcard act in this year’s Open Mic UK competition.
The John of Gaunt pupil, 12, didn’t automatically make it through to the area final when she performed in Bristol earlier this month but judges put her forward as a wildcard.
Now the singer is looking for the public’s help to make it to the next stage of the competition.
Gracie said: “Singing has always been my dream and I just can’t imagine doing anything else with my life.”
Anyone who’d like to vote to get Gracie into the area final can text wildcard512 to 84222. Votes cost £1.
Voting closes at noon on Friday.
