A group of 30 Stonar pupils from Year 9-13 spent five days in the south of Spain this half term, exploring language and culture including architecture, flamenco dancing and food.
A highlight of the trip was a visit to the Alhambra palace in Granada, where a group of pupils were able to experience what life would have been like in the palace heyday.
Pepita Lloret, head of modern foreign languages at Stonar said: “The trip was an enriching experience for all of the pupils that took part, they thoroughly immersed themselves in the Spanish language and culture.
“They had a lot of fun learning about the architecture, history, dance and food in a colourful and stimulating environment.”
