Pupils from King’s Park Primary Academy in Melksham returned to a special treat this week, as they enjoyed their newly-renovated garden.
The ‘sensory garden’ was completely redesigned over the half-term break by a group of parents, who were on hand for the grand unveiling last Wednesday.
It now includes flower planters and a large jungle mural across the fence.
Jo Gruenegan, whose son Louis is in Year 4 at the school, was part of the team which worked through the rain to get the garden ready.
She said: “The kids absolutely love it. We want to thank sponsors including Avon Rubber, the Refa Tandoori, and Superior in Bowerhill.”
