People expecting to spend Christmas Day alone can now join in the festivities at Trowbridge Fire Station for its annual Christmas Party.
It will be the third year that the station has provided Christmas dinner and pudding, donated by Trowbridge firm apetito, and will also put on a range of activities, games and a raffle.
Station watch manager Lucy May said: “If you are on your own, or your family are far away, it can be a tough day, so we want to create a family atmosphere.
“Last year, we had 100 people. Everyone sits together and it is like a big extended family.”
Volunteers help out and donations come from town people and organisations.
Transport can be provided and, although people can just turn up on the day, booking is advisable, so catering numbers can be estimated.
To book, call 01225 756500 or email to Christmaslunch@wiltsfire.gov.uk
