A man has received a caution for cultivation of cannabis, after chemicals found in his Trowbridge flat sparked a major evacuation of the area in September.
Hundreds of people were forced from their homes in Bond Street on September 23, after firefighters investigating a washing machine fire discovered “potentially explosive” items in a neighbouring home.
Bomb disposal experts from the MoD were called to the scene and neighbours were allowed home only after two hours of investigations.
A 27-year-old man was arrested later that evening and released on bail a day later.
No other action was taken for the possession of explosive chemicals, police said.
