Customers and staff at The Bath Arms in Crockerton have started their annual sprouting of facial hair for Movember, to raise funds and awareness of men’s health.
This year’s fundraising is being organised by local Barclays Bank manager Nikki Spreadbury-Clews and pub landlord Dean Carr and will include a charity breakfast on November 16 .
Funds raised, to a maximum of £750, will be matched by Barclays Bank.
Mrs Spreadbury-Clews said: “The charity breakfast will be the main event this year and we want as many people as possible to come along, so we can beat the £1,576 that was raised last year.”
The breakfast will cost £7 a person: to book a place, contact 01985 212262.
