Warminster-based Dents’ position as the world’s leading glove maker lead to the company being brought in to train staff at New York’s iconic Saks Fifth Avenue store.
Dents’ marketing consultant John Roberts has just returned from a successful training seminar at the store where he explained the intricacies of glove making, its history and how modern leather gloves are made.
The seminar was part of Dents’ drive to increase exports, and Mr Roberts put together a full presentation pack for each member of staff, which included a history of Dents.
He said the Saks team were fascinated by the skill and time the firm’s expert staff put into the creation of a single leather glove.
