A man has been seriously injured after a hit-and-run in Bradford on Avon last night.
Wiltshire Police have appealed for witnesses after a car failed to stop after hitting a man in his 20s outside the Beef and Barge on Trowbridge Road at 9.44pm.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics, where he was conscious and breathing, but suffering from leg pain, and was taken to the Bath RUH.
PC Gary Treherne, of Wiltshire Police, said: "A small hatchback, light in colour with black trim struck a male at the location, causing him major injuries.
"It didn't stop, and the driver would have been fully aware as the vehicle sustained some damage, and left debris at the scene."
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Treherne on 101, or anonymously via Crime stoppers.
