VISITORS to County Hall in Trowbridge were given free medical advice during World Stroke Day on Tuesday.
Health experts offered guidance to those recovering from a stroke, gave advice to help prevent people from having strokes and reminded people of the best course of action if they believed someone has had a stroke.
Wiltshire Councillor Keith Humphries, cabinet member for public health, said: “The main thing is that we keep getting these messages out there and that the support for stroke survivors is available.”
Information was also provided about exercise classes for stroke survivors which run at leisure centres across Wiltshire.
