A spooktacular display of pumpkins filled The Swan Hotel in Bradford on Avon for its first pumpkin carving competition.
All week people have been invited to carve a free pumpkin at the hotel and on Wednesday night the 21 entries were judged by three judges.
Mayor John Potter, one of the judges, said: “A huge amount of effort has gone into these and there are some really clever designs.”
The winner of the children and adult category won a meal for four people at the hotel and all the pumpkins were displayed around the hotel in time for Halloween tonight.
Owner James Sullivan-Tailyour said due to the competition’s success it would become a yearly event.
