GCSE students George West and Charlotte Stockton help out with Grove Primary pupils
Trowbridge primary school children had a chance to try their hand at the sports classes on offer at John of Gaunt School last Friday.
The school, in Wingfield Road, welcomed 225 pupils from Newtown Primary School, Studley Green Primary School, Holt Primary School and St John’s Catholic Primary School.
The sessions were taken by Year 12 pupils studying sports leadership qualifications.
The students planned and led the day’s events.
Josh Dunbar, John of Gaunt’s head of PE, said: “It was brilliant to see our students take on this responsibility and do so well.
“The event also created a positive experience for those pupils who will be attending the school in the future.”
