WARMINSTER Conservative Club raised over £600 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance with a series of events as part of National Air Ambulance week.
The fundraising started with a car boot sale, barbecue and face painting on September 21, which raised £98.50, while a quiz and raffle held on September 26 raised another £125.
A skittles and snooker competition held on September 27 netted £161.50 and a darts competition on September 28 raised £66.69, before the evening saw singer Richard Raw entertain crowds and raise a further £200.
After deductions, a total of £617.29 was raised, with a number of local businesses contributing raffle prizes for the events.
Club committee member Dave Wyatt said: “It was great to be able to help out such a great cause as the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
“We would like to say a big thank you to all the businesses and people who donated prizes to raffles and those who supported or were involved in organising the events.”
