WILTSHIRE Council is to launch a Stroke Awareness Campaign at County Hall in Trowbridge.
The event, taking place on Tuesday, is part of World Stroke Day and will have health experts giving advice to those recovering from a stroke. There will also be blood tests and stroke prevention advice on offer.
Stroke survivors can find out about Exercise after Stroke classes at leisure centres across Wiltshire.
Maggie Rae, the council’s corporate director, said: “Our Exercise after Stroke classes are just one of the ways we can directly improve the lives of stroke survivors.”
