Pupils from Springmead School brought in Christmas gift boxes for the charity Mercy In Action, which works to help street children in the Philippines. The parcels are eagerly anticipated by the children and are generally the only gift they receive. The children included food, toiletries, stationery and toys, and 86 boxes were brought in, which Alison Todd from Mercy in Action said was fantastic.
