A Steeple Ashton pub took centre stage on Tuesday when it was the venue for the recording of a short film to be screened at the Toronto Film Festival.
The pub, in High Street, was used for a scene in The ABCs of Death 2 which will be released in 2014 and showcased at the annual Canadian festival.
The film stars Ian Virgo, who has previously appeared in TV series Band of Brothers, and Ryan Winsley, who has featured in shows Robin Hood and The Bill.
Landlady Caroline Quartley was approached by someone she knows from the film company.
She said: “We really enjoyed it and obviously we’d be happy to be used for more filming in the future.
“The whole crew was here early in the morning and there was a really good atmosphere throughout the day.”
