Police are appealing for information regarding three burglaries in Warminster which could be linked.

The first offence occurred at a property on Water Lane, Warminster at some point overnight on Monday, September 30 but burglars could not gain entry.

At some point between Tuesday October 1 and Saturday, October 5, a burglar or burglars broke into a property in Sutton Veny but left empty-handed, while overnight last Friday a flat was broken into on Portway Lane and a television stolen.

DS Nigel Porter of the Salisbury Priority Crime Team said: 'We are not linking these incidents at this stage but are keeping an open mind.

"We thoroughly investigate all reports, even if nothing is stolen, as it is important to identify these people and prevent further offences from happening.

I would like to hear from anyone who has information regarding any of these incidents. It is also very important that local residents report any suspicious activity at the time."
