Westbury retained firefighter Andy Nash was presented with a cheque for £300 by Star Fish Bar in Warminster on Tuesday, after completing last month’s Tough Mudder event in Wales.
Mr Nash took part in Tough Mudder South West with fellow firefighters Danny Barraclough and Darren Young, from Frome.
The 27-year-old set out to raise £1,000 for The Firefighters Charity, which helps injured firefighters and families bereaved when a firefighter is killed while on duty.
Following the donation of £300 from Keith and Leon Widdows at the Star Fish Bar, Mr Nash has so far raised £850.
