A Trowbridge pupil’s artwork has been printed on 250 re-usable jute shopping bags after she won an art competition organised by the town’s Tesco store.
Seven-year-old Hazel May Sibson, of Newtown Community Primary School, also won £250 for the school, plus a £25 Tesco gift card, for designing an eye-catching picture to go alongside Tesco’s Click and Collect design.
The competition for schoolchildren was set up to promote the new Click and Collect service, where shoppers can order groceries online and arrange to pick them up at a collection point in the car park without having to leave their car. The shopping bags will now be given to parents and children at Newtown Community Primary School.
