Mental health was highlighted on Wednesday, which was World Mental Health Day, at the Assembly Hall, Melksham.
The event, aimed at raising awareness of mental health, was organised by Wiltshire and Swindon Users’ Network, and saw a variety of art workshops, guest speakers and group activities for sufferers of mental health conditions.
Louise Rendle, head of network services, said: “We had public health bodies there doing cholesterol and blood pressure checks, and organisations like Rethink and Mind.
“It was a mixture of being informative, and for people to have a chance to have a go at the art and music therapy, or just to talk to each other, as that can be one of the best things for people with mental health issues.”
