Broughton Gifford village hall was a hive of activity when members of the Melksham and District Beekeepers’ Association held their annual honey show.
Over 100 entrants from across the county swarmed in with their honey-based products, to show off their skills in the competition.
Chairman of the association Pete Colegate said: “Entries were slightly down on last year, but the quality and the standard were very high.”
Queen bee was Liz Taylor, with John Newsam second and Patrick Kelly in third place.
Mr Colegate said: “There were some great entries, and the winners were all well-deserved.”
